Replaceable orange rubber seals: by jar size
The orange rubber seal on every Super Jar and Super Terrine is a consumable part. Replace it after every water bath or pressure canning event, and every six months for daily-use storage. Seals are sold by jar diameter, not by jar size. Confirm the diameter before ordering. See why a replaceable seal is what makes airtight glass jars last for decades.
Lids, clips, and hardware
Familia Wiss and Screw-Top lids, milk-bottle caps, Super Snap covers, and replacement wire-bail clips are stocked individually so an aging jar isn't retired over a single failed part.
Labels and storage tools
Erasable labels, label stickers, jar openers, and storage racks complete the canning workflow, sized to match Le Parfait jar diameters.
How to tell when a seal needs replacing
A seal is done when it shows cracks, hardens, discolors, or no longer compresses flat against the jar rim. After any canning event the seal is effectively single-use; even if it looks intact, the heat cycle has deformed it.
Find the Replacement Part for Your Jar
Start with the jar family. Then confirm the capacity or opening diameter shown on the glass, original packaging, or existing closure.

Le Parfait uses several distinct closure systems, and parts that look similar are not always interchangeable. Start by identifying the jar family, then confirm the capacity or opening before ordering.
Super Jars and Super Terrines use a hinged glass lid, an orange rubber seal, and a stainless-steel wire frame. Super Jars carry the classic preserving silhouette, while Super Terrines have straighter, more tapered sides that make unmolding and compact filling easier.
Familia Wiss Terrines use a flat sealing cap beneath a reusable threaded screw band. Because the line includes both 100 mm and 110 mm versions of the 1 L jar, capacity alone may not identify the correct closure.
Screw Top Jars have wide threaded openings and colorful or metal lids. The 1 L and 2 L jars use 100 mm lids, while the 3 L jar uses a 110 mm lid.
Bistrot Jars use a removable stainless-steel clip, glass lid, and orange rubber seal. They may also be paired with compatible wooden lids for dry storage and decorative organization.
Jam Jars use 82 mm metal twist lids. Jam Pots use reusable orange snap covers for refrigerator storage and serving. The two closure styles are not interchangeable.
Milk Bottles and Mini Confiture jars use compatible 48 mm caps.
Look for the capacity molded into the glass or printed on the original packaging. When needed, remove the existing closure and measure straight across the opening at its widest point. Use the fit guide below to match the correct part before ordering.
A worn seal, misplaced lid, or damaged piece of closure hardware should not mean retiring the glass. Replace a rubber seal when it is dry, hard, cracked, stretched, misshapen, or no longer lies flat.
Replace metal lids, bands, clips, or wire frames when they are bent, heavily scratched, badly corroded, difficult to thread, loose, or no longer align correctly with the jar. If the closure no longer sits evenly or securely, stop and replace the part before the next use.
For heat processing, begin with the sealing component that is designed to be fresh for that session. Use a fresh orange rubber seal on compatible Super Jars and Super Terrines.
Use a fresh flat sealing cap on compatible Familia Wiss jars while reusing the outer screw band only when it remains level, clean, and easy to thread.
Bistrot wooden lids, Jam Pot snap covers, and other dry-use or refrigerator-use closures are not preserving closures. Match the part to the job so the jar is being used the way the closure system was designed to work.
Orange rubber seals and plastic storage lids can be cleaned according to the approved care guidance for those materials. Metal caps, bands, clips, and wire frames should be washed gently, rinsed well, and dried promptly. Wooden lids should be wiped or gently hand-washed without soaking.
Never reinstall or store any part while it is damp. Clean, fully dry components last longer, store better, and are easier to match correctly the next time you need them.
Store clean, fully dry spare parts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, sharp objects, and excess heat. Keep seals flat, and avoid compressing them beneath heavier hardware.
Organize parts by both diameter and jar family so visually similar pieces do not become mixed together. A simple labeled system makes seasonal preserving, pantry resets, and routine jar care much easier.
Parts that look similar are not always interchangeable. Confirm the jar family first, then the exact capacity or opening measurement.
Pay close attention to the two different 1 L Familia Wiss openings and the difference between Jam Jar twist lids and Jam Pot snap covers. Bistrot wooden lids are for dry storage and styling only, not heat processing.
If a fit still seems questionable, use the compatibility guide again before ordering or installing the part. The goal is to keep the glass in use by matching the correct component, not by forcing a near match.

No. Jam Jar twist lids fit Jam Jars only, while Jam Pot snap covers fit compatible Jam Pots by size.
No. Bistrot wooden lids are intended for dry storage, countertop organization, bath and vanity styling, and decorative use, not heat processing.
