About Le Parfait America | French Glass Canning Jars

A French Legacy, Preserved Since 1930

Le Parfait is more than a jar — it is a symbol of French craftsmanship, sustainability, and the art of living well.

Founded in Reims, France in 1930, in the heart of the Champagne region, Le Parfait was born at the intersection of glassmaking excellence and culinary tradition. From the beginning, its mission was simple yet enduring: to help families preserve the flavors of each season with integrity, beauty, and reliability.

For generations, French households have trusted Le Parfait’s iconic embossed glass jars, signature orange rubber seals, and stainless steel closures to safeguard their homemade creations. Passed down from grandparents to grandchildren, these jars became a quiet staple of the French pantry — filled with garden vegetables, orchard fruits, pâtés, confitures, and cherished family recipes.

By the mid-20th century, Le Parfait had become the reference brand for home preservation in France — not because of trends, but because of uncompromising quality. Every jar was designed to last. And it still is.

Crafted in France, Rooted in Tradition

In 2010, Le Parfait consolidated its manufacturing and assembly in the historic Auvergne region of France — an area long associated with industrial expertise and artisanal know-how.

Today, 92% of Le Parfait glass production takes place in Puy-Guillaume, where high-quality glass is formed with precision and care. The jars are then assembled by hand in Saint-Yorre, ensuring that every clasp, seal, and detail meets the brand’s exacting standards.

This commitment to French manufacturing preserves not only quality, but heritage — supporting local craftsmanship and maintaining the authenticity that has defined Le Parfait for nearly a century.

Designed to Last. Made to Reuse. Built for a Lifetime.

Long before sustainability became a global priority, Le Parfait embodied its principles.

Our jars are crafted from high-quality, endlessly recyclable glass — free from plastic, designed for repeated use, and built to endure decades of service. The replaceable rubber seal system ensures longevity rather than disposability. This is preservation the way it was meant to be: intentional, responsible, and beautifully simple.

Choosing Le Parfait is a statement.
A return to slower living.
A commitment to reducing waste.
An investment in objects that serve both purpose and aesthetics.
