they fit but don't seem like the best quality. the plastic is very thin

Useful item but poor design and quality

This is needed because the original metal lids rust very easily.
They can screw onto the glass containers and are water tight. This is about the only good points I can say about these lids.
Unfortunately, the design is poor and the quality feels cheap.
First, the outside, where you grip, is smooth plastic, no ridges unlike the metal ones. This makes it difficult to twist it. This problem is worsen by the fact that it doesn't screw in and out smoothly, unlike the metal lids. I need to grip it tightly to twist it, making the lack of ridges a constant annoying problem.
The quality looks and feel like cheap plastic. The outside of the lids have these white\pale lines corresponding to the screw threads. This shows the possibly weak, thin areas of plastic. The edges are sharp and unfinished.
For an official product and at this price, buy only if you must. Very disappointing.

Much better replacement for kids

I bought LeParfait large mouth jars to share food with friends and family. They returned the jars saying can I get a refill? Yes, but the one time lids corroded! I STOPPED BUYING THE JARS. These plastic tops are great and I can buy more jars knowing I can exchange colorful coded lids and expand the cooked gifts my young working families need.

THESE LIDS ARE THE BOMB!

Love, Love, Love these screw top lids. I've been using the Familia jars to store dry goods for years, but just purchased the screw top lids. It makes them even more awesome. I'll be purchasing more the next time I order more jars!
